IMPACT FUND FOR AFRICAN CREATIVES

Founder and Board Member

The Impact Fund for African Creatives (IFFAC) seeks to address the lack of capital, management skills, and infrastructure required to leverage the untapped talent of the continent’s creative industries. Since its launch in 2021, it has deployed capital of €3 million into a number of businesses and is targeting to raise and distribute €100 million. The fund issues grants ranging from €10,000 – €50,000 to selected projects to accelerate development of the continent’s creative sector. It will also provide a further €250,000 - €2 million in venture capital for African entrepreneurs who complete its skills-building program.

Under Roberta Annan’s leadership, the company is rapidly scaling production capabilities integrating traditional West African textile techniques with modern, eco-conscious manufacturing practices. Drawing on her deep industry insight and network across creative sectors, Roberta is steering Black Heritage Textiles Group toward elevating locally sourced fabrics for both domestic designers and international markets, while building capacity, creating jobs, and strengthening Ghana’s position in the global textile economy.

AGOO

Agoo Africa is a crowdfunding platform for African early-stage startups and small traditional businesses. It allows owners of such businesses to make their project and their pitch accessible to a large number of investors, from young non-professional business angels to established international funds. On the other hand, any investor can now have access to a curated database of small Ghanaian companies from various sectors, and invest in them seamlessly via our platform.
